In the Open section, Mike N-E got 3 points, including an impressive win over a 2135 and a win over Drag who scored 2 points but had to face a 2126 and a 13 year old 2137 as well as Mike. Our third competitor in the Open was Jan who scored 2.5 and who played valiantly against a 2295 FM before eventually losing.

There was very little joy for us in the Major section. Felipe scored 2.5 points, Steve 2, Peter G-M 1.5 and John H 1. The Intermediate was little better as Graham got 2.5, David 2, Andy 1.5 and Marian 1.

At least Ronnie did well in the Minor, with 3.5 points, coming joint 4th, and Albert managed 2.5 points in the Improvers.
